Steve and Susan Jones lead a group that meets in Lexington. Their group’s focus is building community with each other as well as reaching out and serving the community around them. They spend much time praying for one another, and also take time to discuss the subject of the message from the previous weekend. Dessert or other good food is always on hand!

The Kelso Group is the longest running of all of EHA’s connection groups, and is comprised mostly of senior citizens. The is also known as “The Roadrunners” because there are members who have attended from Kalama, Rose Valley, West Longview, and all places in between.

This mid-morning small group is accessible for people who have evening work or responsibilities. The Young Adults Group

Leaders: Brent and Meg Leaders

Wednesdays @ 7 PM          536 19th Avenue,  Longview

Brent and Meg are transplants from South Carolina and hope their connection group fosters a feeling of southern hospitality and Christ-like fellowship.  The group is a mixture of singles and young married couples and focuses on deep discussion, building encouraging and genuine relationships, and drinking hot beverages.  Discussions range from diving deeper into the weekly sermons to studying texts written by great Kingdom thinkers.

When they aren't hosting the group you'll find Brent and Meg enjoying good books, cooking adventurously, playing games of all kinds, throwing frisbees, biking, and walking in the park.  And they'd love to do any of those things with you, too.

Central Longview Group

Leaders: John & Chris Stetzer and Erin Lee

Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM

The Grove Alliance Church (2116 E Kessler Blvd, Longview)

Our fun and lively group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm at The Grove. We have a number of families with kids, and childcare is provided. Topics of discussion are varied, from discussing the weekend message to topics like prayer, sharing Jesus, and learning about and using our Spiritual gifts. Our varied ages make for great sharing and challenge as we grow together in our Christian walk. We love newcomers, and look forward to further growth and possible multiplication in the future! We hope to see you there!

Lakefront Friday Group

Leaders: David and Kristen Janiszewski

Fridays @ 6:30 PM

The Grove Alliance Church (2116 E Kessler Blvd, Longview)

This group is a hybrid of all ages, including a break out group for the college-aged. The structure (as we see it developing) is to come together with worship, then topic introduction and then into breakout groups of 4-8 people for 3 weeks of the month. The forth week (as need arises or Spirit leads) will be putting what we study into action in the form of community service, prayer walks through neighborhoods and around the lake, reaching out to the homeless and struggling with prayer and/or supplies, concert volunteering and mission trips local and far off. This will be a group focused on looking, acting, and believing as the apostles did in the book of Acts (God willing).

Childcare will be available but children/teens are also encouraged to participate!

Come and help us to follow Jesus' will for this group.
