Nick and his wife Michelle have been at East Hills since 2002. Before taking the role of Senior Pastor in 2005, Nick served as the Pastor of Small Groups and Worship. Both Nick and Michelle are graduates of Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN. In October of 2004, they had their first child, Alyssa Joy, and in August of 2007, they welcomed their second daughter, Madelyn Grace. Nick grew up in Montana where some of his family still lives. Michelle, originally from the Tacoma area, is a former teacher in the Longview School District, and is now a stay at home mom. Outside of church activities, Nick enjoys golfing, running, reading, and coaching cross-country at R.A. Long High School. Check out his blog site for more from Nick. Ann is a native Pacific Northwesterner, born and raised in Kelso. She and her husband, Tom, lived in Vallejo, California for the first 6 years of their marriage, moving back to Kelso in 1976. Ann and Tom have three twenty-something kids and recently welcomed their second grandchild. Ann serves at East Hills in a variety of ways including helping out with kids' and women's ministries, and participating occasionally on the worship team on keyboard. She has attended EHA for over 12 years. One of the things she loves about East Hills is the high value placed on relationships. Outside the walls of the church you might find Ann reading on the glider in the back yard, driving her Miata (always with it's top down) over to Starbuck's for an iced caramel machiatto, or flying out to see family in Boise, Monrovia, or Raliegh. Caleb Cox was born in Los Angles, California. He grew up near Redding and attended Simpson University, where he received his B.A. in Pastoral Studies. He interned for four years at Trinity Alliance Church during that time and helped with the youth and worship ministries. Caleb is involved with the Jr. High ministry "The Forge", High School ministry "The Deep", and worship ministries at East Hills. He is married to his best friend, Rebekah Joy, and loves playing soccer, hanging out with youth, and learning how to play various world instruments. Lori Shero has been working in the church office since 2005. Lori visited East Hills youth group as a teenager, but she and her husband Gary have been attending with their family since 2000. Becky Cox has been working in the church office since 2006. She is married to Caleb and is highly involved in the youth and worship ministries. She can be found helping out at youth group, leading a high school girls' Bible study, or playing the keyboard or singing on the worship team. When not at church, Becky is either reading, substitute teaching in the Kelso school district, or watching Rachel Ray to get ideas for her other favorite pasttime, cooking. Becky is in the office Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 1. Along with normal office duties, Becky designs many of our bulletins and other publishing projects, and she works on website upkeep.
