What's new at East Hills

Some of our regular teachers and helpers in the children’s ministries wing are taking a needed break for the summer. Would you pray about your involvement?  We would love to continue serving families with children. Would you be willing to help plant seeds in the hearts of our kids? Would you serve once or twice a month?  Would you be willing to attend one worship service and serve at another?  We are praying for more workers for the harvest with our kids! Caring Pregnancy Center
The Baby Bottle Campaign ends this weekend, Father’s Day, June 17.  Please return your bottle to the Welcome Center today (or to the office this week), filled with loose change and/or paper money.

Youth Missions Garage Sale
Support our youth mission trips by donating to our Garage sale. Sat., June 30, 7a-2p will be the sale date. We will take donations starting June 25, so set your gently used items aside and donate them to a great cause!

In Acts 2:38, Peter extended an invitation--“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”   Believer’s baptism is a tremendous blessing and a powerful visual reenactment of a heart decision to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Have you been baptized as a believer in Jesus?  Have you experienced the joy of demonstrating in that way that you are His follower?  Are you interested in being baptized?  Would you like to learn more about the blessing of believer’s baptism?   Please communicate your interest via email, using the welcome card, or talk to one of the staff or elders.  We would love to talk more with you as we plan an outdoor baptism celebration in August.

Kids going in to grades 4-7 are invited to take part in CAMA Camp, August 5-11, 2018!
Pick up a flyer, in the Welcome Center, for the details, including a church coupon code and how to sign up.

Transition Update
With the  “Ministry Manual” first draft completed and possible job descriptions in the works, we are working on related core vision components for our “one church in two campuses.”  We are listening in prayer and to the hearts of people in our church family, and will share the hearts of leaders in coming weeks. Thanks for your prayers and we invite your continued input and participation.
