What's new at East Hills

New Groups Starting Soon!

The Clarks and Sheldahls are starting a new group Sunday March 3. They will be meeting downstairs in the Community Room at East Hills after service every week until about 1:15. This group will be sharing a meal together and then watching a video study called “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist”, a study that deals with the questions of how we can know God is real and believe that the Bible is true. This is a family group so kids are welcome but there is no childcare and the content is geared toward middle school age and up. They will have a potluck meal, all are welcome but please sign up in the Welcome Center so they know how many to expect.

The Millikan’s are starting a Saturday night connection group on March 9-everyone is welcome! Don’t stress about dinner plans before Saturday service, come every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 5p to the East Hills Community room for a soup dinner and fellowship. Bring your kids. There is no agenda, just come as you are, get to know other families and make some friends. For more information or to volunteer to bring soup contact Aliina Millikan at 360.430.0112.

Restored & Remarried

This local seminar is encouragement for remarried couples in a step family. Come, learn some tools to strengthen your remarriage and step family. March 15/16. For more info, location, cost and times, pick up a flyer in the Welcome Center.

Lent

On Sunday night, March 10, we are gathering for a prayer and worship night to prepare for the season of LENT. We want to encourage each other to again approach the 40 days of Lent as a time to draw closer to God and intentionally prepare for resurrection life celebration.
