Aly Claypool

Hello! I'm Aly Claypool and I have been a part of the East Hills Alliance family for about 15 years. I found myself gracing the pews (yes, they used to be hard, wooden pews) of East Hills at a time in my life where I desperately needed a loving, radically graceful, community. I am so thankful for the ways that I have discovered and met Jesus within the four walls of this building.

I am married (Zach) with two boys Corbin and Joe. We also have one very spoiled mini-poodle named Bill. I have lived in Cowlitz County for my entire life, with the exception of two years spent serving with AmeriCorps in Charleston, South Carolina and Everett, Washington. AmeriCorps is really where my passion for service and love of volunteerism was born; which, combined with a deep love of Jesus, makes the Community Coordinator position a natural fit for me. It provides me an opportunity to use my strengths to best serve the body of Christ and my surrounding community.

In addition to serving as the Community Coordinator in this season, I work with the middle school youth group girls on Wednesday evenings and have a heart for gathering women of all ages for fellowship and discipleship. One of the ways that we gather women is at our quarterly LOFT events; you can find information about these gatherings on the East Hills website.

Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering within our East Hills community. Our Kidville program on Sunday mornings (pre-K through 5th grade Sunday School) is currently our area of greatest need; but there are a multitude of big and small ways that you can volunteer (welcome teams, audio/visual, worship team, Sunday Cafe, kitchen, etc.) You can find my contact information on the church website; and I am also listed in the church directory.

Thank you for taking the time to check out our church website and our staff. If I haven't met you yet; please introduce yourself the next time we see each other!
